Let’s talk about the war nobody warned us about: Entrepreneurs vs. Millennials with Money.
Yeah, I said it.
If you’ve ever side-eyed a 22-year-old millionaire on Instagram while sipping reheated coffee in your third hoodie of the week — this one’s for you.
😩 “Rise & grind” hits different when you’re 35 and tired.
See, us seasoned entrepreneurs (the ones with a few gray hairs and a decade of trial-and-error scars) are out here building websites with expired plugins, hustling on 3 hours of sleep, and turning trauma into content — all while raising kids, doing laundry, and chasing invoices like they owe us child support.
Meanwhile, freshly minted Millennials with six-figure course sales are posting, “My first million by 23 🥺✨” with a latte in one hand and zero signs of overhead in the other.
Let me be clear: I’m not mad… but I am mad.
There’s levels to this.
🤝 Entrepreneurs Be Like:
- “I built this funnel using duct tape, hope, and an old YouTube tutorial.”
- “I’m 48 hours into a 24-hour fast — not for health, I just forgot to eat.”
- “I got 2 clients and 7 tabs open, all saying ‘Pay Invoice.’”
We hustle in silence because:
- We got bills.
- We got kids.
- We’re still figuring out how to get our followers to click anything that isn’t free.
💅 Millennials Be Like:
- “I just made $70K from my AI eBook while brushing my teeth.”
- “You don’t need a job, you need a mindset shift.”
- “Just invest in yourself, bro.”
Sir.
You still live in your parents’ house with two home offices and central air. Let me “invest in myself” after I invest in groceries, rent, gas, therapy, and figuring out how to not scream into a pillow every Monday.
💼 But Here’s the Real:
I respect both sides.
Millennials are proof that money moves faster now — if you learn the system. But entrepreneurs remind the world that grit, wisdom, and showing up daily still matter. Especially when the Wi-Fi crashes and Stripe holds your payout for “security reasons.”
Some of us survived dial-up, Napster, and MySpace top 8 politics. We are not new to this.
📌 So What’s the Move?
Whether you’re grinding at 39 or stacking at 21, truth is:
- Everyone’s figuring it out.
- Everyone’s winging at least half of it.
- And nobody — not even Mr. Crypto Course in Bali — has it all together.
So keep going.
Build slow.
Build real.
Laugh when it hurts. Cry when it’s funny. And if your Canva thumbnail looks off, post it anyway.
